How much protein should I have? How much water should I drink? Do I have to cut out carbs?

Bananas are bad for you. I can’t eat fruit. I can eat this as long as it fits my macros.

The list goes on and on….


I struggled for a long time understanding nutrition. I’ve often battled with emotional or stress eating. I have a major sweet tooth and love salt!

When I first started my weight loss journey, I really struggled with figuring out what to eat, when to eat, and how to cook healthy foods. I cut a lot of foods out, and probably wasn’t eating enough for a while.

Through the years, I discovered healthy recipes that I love! I tried foods I never had before. I didn’t eat kiwis until I was in my junior year of college! I was a very picky eater.

I had a health coach while working at a school in Indiana. I had learned a lot from my own research already, but she really helped fine tune the missing pieces.

She taught me about Intuitive Eating.

I thought she was crazy when she said I could go to Coldstone Creamery and have an ice cream every day if I wanted. She explained that eventually, my body will let me know when it’s had enough.

Our bodies are smart. We just have to listen.

Now, it’s my turn to help you with a Nutrition Audit!

What is a nutrition audit and do I need one?

A nutrition audit is my way to help you get a better idea of what’s going on with your journey. Can you relate to any of these statements below?

How does a nutrition audit work? Do I have to count calories?

You will start by filling out a quick lifestyle form here. This form provides me a quick overview of what your eating patterns and lifestyle currently look like.

Next, you’ll get sent to the payment screen ($75) and download my app. This is where you will be able to track your progress and have a messenger space where you can reach out to me with questions or for support.

Over the course of 7 days (you can start that day or the next), you will use the app to take photos of your food and drinks. There’s a spot to put a description of what it is. You don’t have to count calories. Simply take photos and upload them into the app. Don’t hide anything! Be sure to share everything to get the best results. This is a judgement free zone.

I will review what you have consumed throughout the course of the week. I will note the positives and any concerns I may find. I will send you feedback based on what you’ve sent and the information on the form. From there, I will provide actionable steps that I feel will help you on your journey.

Full disclosure: I am not a registered dietician. I have a license to teach Plate by Zumba and am a certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer. With my skills and knowledge, I can assist with nutrition in a lot of ways, including the nutrition audit.
